We can start protecting your files in just a few minutes. After a quick setup, we
begin by taking an inventory and then start backing up all of your personal files.
While you are working on your PC and making changes or adding new files, our software
"sees" this and backs up these changes right away, keeping our remote copy of your
data up to date!
By using our two pronged approach, we back up files as they are changed and also
search your system once a day to make sure nothing has been missed. By default,
SaveMyDocs.com will back up all of your personal files, but you can tell it to skip
certain files if you wish. System and program files are not backed up. This reduces
the size of your backup and simplifies recovering your files if necessary.
SaveMyDocs.com is available for a low monthly fee. Additional storage space is available but is not generally needed.
If you have more than one PC in your home or office you can add them to your plan. Your PCs share the total storage space
of your plan, saving you money. Your plan's storage space will shrink and grow with your needs.
